Youngest Does It Again

Youngest's prayer tonight. As much as I can remember. (Note how important tellies are to my boy)

Dear God,
Thank you for a lovely day. Thank you for the cakes.
Thank you for all our friends and my family.
Please give poor people more things. And give the people in Haiti more things. Can they have things that they REALLY need like tellies and food? And make it so we have less so that they can have some more.
Amen.

Wow. He's only five.
Rock on, Youngest.

What a beautiful prayer, you must be a wonderful mother for your son to be thinking so kindly of others.

Kathy G - It did to mine too, as he was saying it!
Mud - isnt he just... looked so sweet with his hands together and eyes tight shut. You would never have believed that it was the same boy who shoved his sister into the hedge hours before. ;)xx
Anita - here's hoping! xx
Pam - I'm sure they will... Youngest is no saint but he does THINK so hard!! x

Bless. Makes you wonder if we should hand over the running of the country to five year olds!

Shame he didn't specify digital 1080 HD ready rather than say analogue but probably God knows best anyway (and I suppose the big old ones won't fall over as easily as the modern thin ones).

Reminds me of the little boy who sees a funeral cortege go by just as he was going to say his prayers before bedtime.
"What's that Mummy?"
"It's Mr Smith, he died a few days ago and he's now going up to heaven", says his Mum."Now, say your prayers."
The little boy kneels down but no prayers are heard.
"Why aren't you saying your prayers?", says Mum.
The little boy replies.
"It's no use saying any, 'cos God will be busy unpacking Mr Smith".
Go youngest!

Anne - he really is a poppet! You should see him with his eyes tight shut and hands together. Shame he's not like that in the day time!!
