Happy Christmas!

Lost sense of humour today. It fell off, finally, in Tesco. Three children (mine) trailing with me, holding on to the trolley, which was one of those ones that Cant Bloody Go Straight. We would meet people coming the other way, and every 5 seconds I would say,
'Get behind me or in front of me. Do Not Hold On To The Trolley.'
'Get behind me or in front of me. Do Not Hold On To The Trolley.'
'Get behind me or in front of me. Do Not Hold On To The Trolley.'
'Get behind me or in front of me. Do Not Hold On To The Trolley.'
'Get behind me or in front of me. Do Not Hold On To The Trolley.'
Full to bursting with Really Slow Bastards.
Oh, the bliss of getting back.
No More Shopping.
Until bloody tomorrow.
But Husband is home tomorrow so can Go Alone To Shop. Have one more present to get. And then 249 small things that I keep forgetting. Like 15 lemons. Unsalted butter. Fire lighters. Perhaps can set fire to my fiery temper. That will make a nice glow.
Deep breath.
Thank you to all my new Blogger Friends for your lovely comments and interest. I have LOVED doing this.
Be peaceful. Be happy.
Happy Christmas.
Much love to you all.

I am so glad I "found" your blog. I know it wasn't funny for you at the time. You are hilarious. Forgive me for laughing?

Hah! We must've been cursing Tesco at the same time!!

Truthfully, it's time to apologize to them-- they have the best trolleys ever. Have you ever tried to Navigate an American trolley? Absolute rubbish. Today I took the oldest son into said shop and he was saying, "Oh I forgot how great these were" as he spun it around precariously close to old people with walkers...

We have the Tesco Home Delivery service. I think we must be very thankful that the Tesco vans and indeed the Tesco giant delivery trucks steer better than the trolleys. Imagine if they are all steered like the trolleys - it would make great spectator fun watching from road bridges but would be seriously challenging when driving.

I hope you and your family have a great Christmas. As a "Stalwart" you have a duty to be back in 2009. I only hope that I can make my blog half as interesting and amusing as you manage with yours.

Have a good Christmas. Have had a different sort of run up to the big day. My front tooth suddenly decided to go really odd - years ago had the root removed due to my 18 month old son throwing a brick at my front teeth. I think this tooth is now about to fall out - oh no - not at Christmas - do not want to make an emergency visit!

Judging by the heaving throngs around the supermarkets over the past two days I think people aren't planning on emerging, blinking into the light until late May.

Have a good 'un.
