Youngest the new Alan Sugar?

Youngest doesn't seem to have the Brightest of Ideas concerning Commerce.
After lots of chat over breakfast about how to make Loadsa Cash, he had a Thought.
'I've an idea for how to make money,' he said, snuggled on my knee after breakfast.
'How?' I asked, with quite Low Expectations, really.
'Well, you buy loads of Playstations 2.'
'Yes...' we all said, getting quite impressed so far.
'And you smash them all up...'
'Yes...' we went, a little Less Certain now.
'And then you mend them and sell them on Ebay!' he finished with Gusto.
And was suitably crushed when we all howled with laughter for ten minutes.

LCM - Just FAB to see you again... and must say OH did very well indeed with his 17 point turn. Most impressed.
As you seem to know the entire cast of local village will have to get you down for a dinner... meantime hope to get together soon in London. Kisses. xxx

My youngest son used to spend hours with a screwdriver and an old clock/radio/remote-control-car etc. Nothing ever went back together the same and several parts were left out - but then again nothing ever worked again either. He never even considered selling these items on ebay - an opportunity missed I think. I can see where your youngest is coming from. I have indeed bought some c*ap on ebay!
PS: Apologies for deleted post - I missed a word out and couldnt bear to leave it!

Ingenious! Now which one of his parents does youngest take after again?
Just asking. ;)

Would that mine had any idea about getting loadsa cash - seems to think it all grows on trees or else in his Godfather's pockets....

I'm struggling to see Youngest's USP in the proposal and market feedback from breakfast time suggests credibility issues and for that reason I'm OUT.

Just hone his raw talent and you'll be off to St Barts to live! -HMx

And I expect Sir Alan would be crushed too if you laughed at him for 10 minutes. Youngest is showing promise though! A x

I'm laughing at the post and Troy's comment.

My boy once stood at the end of the drive selling plums from our tree. They got bored after a while and managed to persuade the woman at the corner shop to take the lot.

This is why blogs are so great. You can write all this stuff down and read it back later in life. What a character he is!

Like it! Actually my eldest came up with a cracking idea but I'm not going to write it down here for obvious reasons! (Could be our monetary salvation ;))

(In Blackadder speak) I plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel...
